| Description: | life cafe gallery was opened in the summer of 2002 and so far has had over forty exhibitions featuring hundreds of local and national artists in all forms of media. life works closely with local schools, art groups and Colchester School of Art & Design. Freshly cooked food and drinks are served throughout the day; Monday to Saturday. Weekdays, life is open from 8am until 7pm and on Saturdays until 5pm. Signature dishes include the legendary Mediterranean pasta bowl, the cosmic chilli bowl (it's got everything in it) oozing paninis, fabulous Columbian coffees, monster milkshakes, and daily baked cakes. Don't forget to try the life hand pressed burger topped with a slab of buffalo mozzarella and life tomato salsa encased in lightly toasted ciabatta bread served with our own coleslaw and cherry tomato salad. For the lentil eating, plastic shoe wearing leftees out there we replace the beef burger with a breaded spicey bean burger and give you a funny look. |
