ALMOST FAMOUS is just getting in there with this act as the brothers (JR Deep and Guilherme) are literally teetering on the brink of being famous and may well be there by the time they play. DRUMAGICK have flown in from Brazil to give us a tropical set comprising of the best that Brazilian Drum and Bass has to offer, which judging by the immersion of the D&B scene in everything Brazilian last year, will be a massive set that sees the attitude of a Rio carnival being unleashed. They will be blending samba, Brazilian Funk, tropical beats and sumptuous sassy vocals with Drum and Bass magic.
Championed by Gilles Peterson (included on his CD Worldwide Programme 2) Fabio, Roni Size, Patrick Forge, Ross Allen and other top honchos in the Drum and Bass world these "brothers drum" (sorry, bad joke) are not only talented DJ’s but also practice their craft as a live 6 piece band, so you know that they know their sh*t.
